60th Anniversary Reception for Ann and Henry #photog

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting a surprise anniversary reception for Ann and Henry Stafford at the Planters Club in Suffolk, Virginia.  It seems that Ann and Henry never had a proper reception at their wedding, so their family and friends surprised them with one.  What a great couple!  Here they are.

And it would not have happened without the love of two good friends, Kathy and Larry Saunders — two lover birds themselves!

It is unusual for the photographer to be part of the event, but I couldn’t help but have my picture taken with Ann and Henry and they were gracious enough to indulge me.  I’m glad they did.  It was an honor and distinct privilege to be their photographer for this superb event.
