About Me
I am an outdoor life photographer. For nearly 4 decades, my passion is capturing moments, places and people that inspire us to reflect on the world within which we are so fortunate to live. So, how does one define living and “life?” Well, my view is that life can be that which is still and peaceful as in a broad landscape that contains a bunch of lively colored rocks and grass. Life can be people doing everyday things — living life as they do. Life can also be an event that has meaning to those who are living in that moment and those that are sharing that moment. And, most importantly to me, life is that which we enjoy each day we are fortunate to be alive on, as the astronauts of Apollo 8 put it while emerging from the far side of the moon, “the good earth.”
As an active volunteer in my community, my goal is to use my photography to effect positive change wherever possible, to give back to others by using what talent I have and my time to lift spirits and create joy for others. I also hope to share what I learn with other photographers, and help them to grow as I, too, learn and grow from them.
If you like what I am trying to do and want to allow me to help you achieve similar goals, then contact me and we can talk about ways to do that for you. (Click the “Contact” menu item at the top of the blog)
Best,
Dale Ward
